Allied Groups

The Northeastern Section welcomes the involvement and interaction with Allied Health professionals.

The Section’s annual meeting typically includes a single full-day scientific program for nurses and other non-physician providers. This is a unique component of the meeting and is coordinated in conjunction with the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA), the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), the Urology Nurses of Canada (UNC), and the Quebec Nurses Association.

Attendees of this full day program hear state-of-the-art lectures, point/counterpoint debates and panel discussions on a wide range of urology topics and new technologies, taught by many of the same faculty presenting at the 3-day Section meeting.

Attendees may choose to attend this one day program to receive continuing nursing education credits (CNE) or to attend the entire 3-day Section meeting which includes designated exhibit hall hours and interaction with physicians and industry representatives at social events sponsored by the Section.
