NSAUA Urology Giants Nominations

Dear NSAUA members,
I hope your summer is going well, and you are getting some quality relaxation time.
Did you have a great mentor that you would like to honor? Did you have a superlative role model as a professor 15 years ago who was world-renowned and yet your current residents don’t know their name? Or a remarkable colleague who is an unsung hero today? Please consider honoring them with recognition in our Northeastern Section’s Urology Giants display. The gallery will be displayed prominently at our Annual Meeting.
Each community has many exemplary leaders that should be represented. Please do not feel that you must limit this to just academic centers or academic physicians. Their contributions might be in non-medical areas of the community as well, in organized medicine or administration, in mentorship or teaching, in charitable or medical missionary work or many other worthy areas as well as the more traditional academic or research accomplishments. I would like to challenge each community to make at least one entry for this year’s annual meeting.
Send us a picture of your honoree along with a short paragraph (<100-words) explaining why he or she is a giant in your eyes. These can be easily mounted on a PowerPoint slide and forwarded to Haley Minella in the NSAUA Executive Office at haley.minella@wjweiser.com, who can also help you assemble the slide. For examples, please follow the link to our collection thus far.
